With their primary residence in New Hampshire, the Sanger Residence Owners, purchased an original 1952 Florida Ranch house to live during the winter months. They traveled the U.S. looking for their winter escape before settling in the up and coming city of St Petersburg, Florida. They fell in love with the mature oak trees surrounding the site and the property’s proximity to outdoor activities. Their goal was to entertain and enjoy the tropical climate as much as possible.

The existing house was small and poorly modified over the years, yet the Owners had a simple request, which was to reuse the existing structure while adding spaces to make the home a private outdoor oasis for them and their guests.
